What do people say?
We checked in at key moments to ensure I was on the right track, where he gave helpful motivational and developmental feedback, but he gave me the opportunity to run with the project without any sense of micromanagement. This combination of clear feedback and freedom to lead really helped me grow as a leader and led to successful outcomes.
Scott is a breath of fresh air, a knowledgeable and experienced educator with a genuine desire to see transformation in the lives of young people. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He is a rare gem!
Scott is an exceptional leader. He can lead from vision to strategy to operation. He is a leader of integrity, humility and drive, yet also is highly relational with those he works with. Scott is able to take people with him on the journey of change and growth. I would have no hesitation in working with him again.
When we commissioned Scott to help us prepare our schools for Ofsted, some staff were apprehensive about working with a consultant and unsure about what would be achieved. Scott managed to connect quickly with the teams, listen, put their minds at rest and show that he was only interested in helping us all deliver the best education to our students. We really benefitted from his T&L feedback, curriculum deep-dive interviews, and thinking deeper about our systems & procedures. This led to staff going into inspection feeling well-prepared, confident of our offer and their role in delivering it. Not only did inspection go well, but more importantly we are continuing to shape and refine the students’ experience to be the best it can be. I would recommend Scott to anyone wanting to maximise the impact education has in the lives of their students, whether they are approaching an inspection or not.
