We’ve all heard of Energy Performance Ratings – with the cost of electricity at the moment we certainly should have. But what about your Leadership Performance Rating?
A stimulating discussion with a good friend over coffee last week gave me the idea of tweaking one of the tools I use to assess the overall performance of leadership teams.
Take a look at the 5 categories and give your organisation a mark out of 6 for each. Then multiply your total by 3.3334 and it will give you an overall Leadership Performance percentage. Remember that no organisation has everything where they want it to be; the law of entropy dictates that when we focus on 1 priority, taking our eyes off another means that there will always be elements that slip and require further attention.
Finally, try to see things through the eyes of a neutral. This can be difficult due to assimilation (where our view is skewed owing to us being part of the solution) and we often see things as we are, not as they are. But, if you can remain as objective as possible, this should give you some valuable insight as to where your energy and attention could be best deployed next.

Hi Joseph,
My initial response seems to have bounced back from the email address you left.
Please can you confirm it is the correct address?
Best regards,
Scott
