Team Walk Coaching

Have you ever noticed how many of your best ideas and revelations occur when you’re away from your desk? Or how your most effective team members can sometimes clam up and not show their best and brightest ideas when you’re around the board or meeting room?

You’re not alone. For most people, the subconscious brain is at its very best when we are engaging the left and right hemispheres simultaneously by doing something physical, and even better if we are out in nature whilst doing so.

For that reason, amongst others, Team Walk Coaching days could be the answer to unlocking some of the best thinking and revelations of your team. Whether you’re starting your strategic planning, seeking breakthrough on a particular challenge, wanting to give your team some time away from their normal environment or a combination of all of these, Team Walk Coaching will leave your team energised and enthused.

What does it entail?

-A guided walk so you don’t have to worry about getting lost or spending time fixated on a map

-Questions designed specifically to meet your objectives for the day. These will include personal reflection questions, discussion topics for 2s & 3s, and questions devised to prompt breakthrough and innovation

-All walks have an option to take in a pub/café/restaurant lunch for sustenance and recharging

-A choice of several locations to meet the requirements of your team

Locations

With an abundance of beautiful walks in the North, there are too many options to detail here, but the most popular options include:

-the Peak District

-the Lake District

-the Yorkshire Dales

-the North York Moors

Get in touch with your specific requirements and we will find a walk to suit your preferences.

Duration

From 3 hours to a full day of walking and anything in-between. For the full-day options, specially-selected places for food will replenish and revitalise the group at roughly the half-way mark.

Fitness requirements

Walks can be selected and tailored to meet the fitness levels of your group. For team members who struggle with fitness, there are routes with minimal climbs and plenty of opportunities for short breaks to take in the scenery. For groups with high levels of fitness, more challenging routes may prove to be rewarding, such as Kinder Scout, Pen-y-ghent or The Old Man of Coniston.
